Coldplay – Viva La Vida

Hype Williams directed an amazing video for this single, i LOVE this song. Whenever it comes on whoever’s around me is no longer acknowledged lol.. one of those songs you disappear to, for some reason i can’t explain. @ 3:00 i love the quick shots running with the beat, reminded me of a heart beating.. the song around 3:35 i wish the boys would have cut the drums longer and sang agaaaaaain, i love this song “one minute I held the key, next the walls were closed on me”

but that was when i ruled the world

This video is horrible, in my opinion. Hype could’ve done way better (especially since this is outside of the normal genre of music he does direct videos for). This looks like a corny cliche sequel to the iTunes ad. The alternate video for this song (inspired from Depeche Mode) is def. a cup of tea on my table as far as visual concept.

horrible seems extreme… it’s coldplay.. not bustas rhymes.. he fits the visuals with the artist taste.. this video is very coldplay

  5. [...] I love this joint (and so does she). Hype Williams directs the video for the second single off Coldplay’s fourth studio release. [...]

THe video for Violet Hill is way better than this joint. This is why I made sure I said “In my opinion” because, it indeed is … my opinion LOL. Nobody has to agree or disagree with me. But being a Coldplay fan that I am and watching their previous videos this Hype Williams joint can go straight to the trash. In my opinion, of course. LOL.
