[This isn't addressing his retirement blog post] I’m disappointed in the reactions that have come from his post. I’ve only read multiple pessimistic comments from everyone about his statement, no taking into consideration of the situation he could be in.
Yeah I agree with you there. People are talking like he owes it to them to keep making music.
Well excuse the fans for giving a fuck. He talkin’ bout changing the world and touching lives which obviously he did, they he gonna leave the sta…I mean fans hi-n-dry.
For the record. No way a label lets you sign a one-album deal. People read into too much of it with out knowing what’s on paper i.e. Jay-Z “retiring” after The Black Album when he still owed Def Jam more albums. Marketing ploys people.
I am mucho irritated by all the negativity. The funny thing is, one of the biggest sh*t talkers yesterday was actually someone who had hit me up asking for my help to get Cudi on his mixtape, smh! Sad how ppl want to use you and abuse you.
the fans caring is awesome but the same people shaking his hand are cracking at him for making the statement; i’m saying be considerate, of course this is a wild statement to make and bring up publicly but just let him annouce how he feels don’t sass him for expressing himself whether you believe what he’s saying or not no?

people don’t realize that stardom ISN’T fun. and it most def ISN’T for everyone. some people honestly just want to touch a few souls and go to bed the same person they woke up as that morning. and in this day and age, the industry wants so much and the gossip blogs crave such ish that it’s damn near impossible to do that.
so he can retire. he can wake up tomorrow and change his mind. hell, he can pull a chappelle and travel to south africa for a bit i don’t care. as long as he as a person is straight and feels ok with his decisions, i’m good. i got the mixtape. and imma get the lp. as a fan, i’ll be straight.
