Drizzy’s debut album now has been set a date, May 25th is the date, pushback’s i’m sure are in order but if not, that’s the date to remember (via DD). While in the studio last night he blogs that he is recording the last track for the album. “Should I just post the entire thing up now and say no the methods and yes to the mayhem???? Ha. I’d love too, but this is something special that I feel needs to be delivered to you in the way you deserve it to be.” Until then, catch him on tour starting in April, check dates below.

It was a “secret show/album release party” for “New Amerykah, Part II: Return of the Ankh” and it was incredible. She had it at the El Rey Theatre in LA last night and this is footage of Erykah doing everything from scatting to making beats on an MPC.

S.O.B.’s was the only place to be last night.. RocNation NC native J. Cole held one of his major first shows last night to a sold out crowd in NYC. A couple folks came out, Talib, Hi-Tek, Asher Roth, Young Chris.. and more. He performs a new record i had heard before but now the beat has changed, which is just as awesome, produced by himself & partner Elite. “When you was thinkin bout breakfast, i was thinkin bout dinner.” Check back i’ll have a few flicks from the show up from my patna Ernest.
