As a warm-up for the MMG signee’s new release “Savage Journey to the American Dream”, Stalley offers a series of songs called “Songs by Me, Stalley”. The third is “God’s Child”, an original song over Block Beattaz production.
The Roots put together a visual interpretation for their contribution off the Soundtrack For a Revolution soundtrack. The project will be released on February 14th and features other Civil Rights-era freedom songs performed by the likes of Joss Stone, John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, Wyclef Jean and others.
