Video: Miike Snow – Devil’s Work

Kind of music so good it hurts to share. Since their last release in 2009, Swedish trio Miike Snow have quietly been nesting up until yesterday when they released ‘Devil’s Work’ on BBC’s Radio 1. They recently shared the news November 29 via Facebook “The album is complete. The videos are being shot. The artwork is being finished. The tour dates are being planned… News of all this and more in the next few days. Thank you Thank you!” If you’ve heard anything Miike Snow, or seen any Miike Snow visuals, you and I may be sharing the same excitement. “We all need somebody to love.”

Video: Wale On Last Call with Carson Daly

Wale makes an appearance on Last Call to discuss finally releasing his album Ambition, being apart of MMG and what made Ross believe in signing Wale. Congrats to Wale, he really rose above in what could of turned sour, and it sounds like it worked out.

Video: Jesse Boykins III – Light To Dark

Love the emotion Joshua painted with this video and the record just as beautiful, produced by Gold Panda, is featured on Jb3′s latest EP Way Of A Wayfarer now available to download for f r e e. Fortuantly I was hanging with the guys for a day of filming throughout NYC early November – take a peak at a flick of the 2 below.

‘Light to Dark’- The song resonated with me, both its abstract definition of “Light to Dark” and its lyrics: a testament to global socio-political events and ethical dilemmas. As a fan of music and art, I appreciate that this song is saying something new instead of beating the same drum and coming up with the same message. I asked Jesse how he would describe this song and he said it was his interpretation of what John Lennon’s “Imagine” would sound like if he grew up in our environment, time and culture. Reimagining such an iconic song sounds daunting, but justified nonetheless. -Director Joshua Kissi of Street Etiquette

Video: T.I. On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

Used to looooove TIP. He’ll always sit on the shelf of favorite rappers regardless of the poor judgement of choices he’s made. He stops by Late Night to talk of all that he has going on, his book, his forthcoming album ‘Trouble Man’, his recent (as he calls it) ‘family documentary’ television show and his WIFE Tameka :) . Loved the show and loved that the 2 of them finally wedded. If you missed the premiere of T.I. & Tiny: A Family Hustle check it out below.
