Video: Gita – Hood Rich

Reasons why i love NYC, everyone knows some one! I ran into this music video through my good friend Shivs blog this morning, (anything Shiv approves is worth checking out) and loved it and Gita. I asked my friend Skotch to connect myself and Gita, 20 mins later Gita calls. Gita is from Oakland, CA – she moved to NYC in 2009 unplanned but anxious to settle and start her music career. I rarely care for female emcee’s, I enjoyed Kreayshawn and before that was Remi Ma.. so lol i’m pretty bad with women rappers but i’m excited to hear more from Gita. She’s finalizing her first mixtape with producer DJ Two Stacks so stay tuned for more!

Video: Kobe System – Level 6 (Beastion)

Video: Ke$ha – Sleazy 2.0 Ft. Lil Wayne, T.I. Wiz Khalifa, Andre 3000

This the video for the remix of the Ke$ha song. There’s some heavy hitters on here. But be warned, none of the singers are actually in the video. But the old dude who raps T.I.’s part is pretty hilarious.

Cris Cab ft. Mavado & Wyclef Jean – Rihanna’s Gun

This is kind of a crazy mix of artists but I really dig it. Cris has been releasing some serious jams lately. I’m definitely excited to hear what Echo Boom (which drops on January 31st) has in store for us!
