Curren$y at the Diamond Supply NY Pop Up Shop

nn
Its better to be an expert at one thing than mediocre at two. Some how LA based skate brand Diamond Supply Co. was able to take their expertise in the realm of skate into the world of fashion to create a streetwear juggernaut that can outfit you whether you put two feet to the ground or four wheels to the floor. Currensy, Also known for his double major in rapping and horticulture, visited the Diamond Supply crew in their temporary NY Outpost as they take over Japanese Denim retailer Prohibit from December 17th – December 31st. Diamond Supply owner Nick Diamond takes Currensy on a tour through the merchandise and unveils the collaboration between Diamond and Currensy’s Fly Society brand.

Curren$y Interview w/ iHipHop

So I linked up with Curren$y at Dame Dash’s “24 Hour Karate School” for a quick interview. We mainly talked about what he represents and his unwillingness to portray himself in any other manner than who he actually is. I think Spitta’s stance on this has played a pivotal roll in maintaining his relevancy and his fans dedication. It’s about the culture, and not the money for Curren$y. How many other rappers can say that with a straight face? -Sam
