Common talks to Bossip about beefing with Drake and how it would end. Personally, i think it’s dragging out a bit, and would really want to see a GOOD Music vs. YMCMB cypher. I would be rooting for GOOD Music.

I’m pretty sure this has made it’s way around the inter webs but just in case you missed it courtesy of ego-trip, the Common vs. Drake War has been quiet the last few days. Perhaps they’ve made nice-nice in ways you might have never imagined. We can dream, can’t we?
This pretty much made my day. The very talented Florence Welch and co stopped by BBC Radio One’s Maida Vale Studios to give us an incredible cover of the Drake and Rihanna hit single which is produced by one of my favorite producers Jamie xx. Here’s what she had to say about collaborating with Mr. Graham , “I haven’t got anything planned at the moment. I’ve always wanted to do something with Drake. We’ve always tried to, but we keep both being really busy and nothing’s happened. We’ve always been in different places and the time that we did end up in the studio together we ended up getting quite drunk together and there wasn’t a song that came out of it“.
Earlier tonight Drake stopped by Funk Flex’s show at Hot 97 to premiere what’s going to be the brand new single to be lifted from his sophomore album Take Care.

You may remember a year ago when k-os released Part 1 which was featured on his Anchorman mixtape? if you don’t then I highly suggest checking that out; there’s some definite gems on that project. Faith Part 2 is a followup to the standout track released last year and is produced by the J.U.S.T.I.C.E League. Once again k-os grabs his fellow Canadian Drizzy Drake to assist.
Drake drops off the latest visuals for his single Headlines, not that anyone needs to be reminded but for those living under a rock Take Care is slated for an October 24th release. Video directed by Lamar Taylor & Hyghly Alleyne via OVO
If the last post wasn’t enough for you, Drake came though with this Wacka record which he threw a verse on for his final release of the night. Read what he had to say about this cut below;
First Lex Luger beat I ever got to rap on…feel like I got seat B60 on Southwest…everybody has gone in before me…but we made it happen!

With Take Care a little over a month away from it’s release it looks like Drake’s about to turn things all the way up starting with the release of these two new tracks on his blog in the early hours this morning.

In this recent interview with MTV News, Drake proceeds to compare Rick Ross’ new album to ahem: Doggystyle, Ready To Die AND Lord Willin’. I’m not sure how to process this but I guess we’ll believe it when we hear it?
While in Windsor, Ontario Drake takes the stage to dismiss all Big Sean beef rumors right before going in to his first live performance of his Take Care single, “Headlines.” I didn’t know there were even rumors of the two beefing, being that both artists spoke on the YM metaphorical raps and Big Sean’s “Supa Dupa Flow” similarities, and Drake openly paid his respect to Big Sean. But anyways, it’s good that Drake took his time out to big up D-Town and the “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay” rapper. Take Care in stores on Drake’s birthday, Oct. 24.
