Bow Wow drops this autotuned-covered video from his new album, Underrated. It’s a pretty good club joint, but I’m waiting for him to drop something a little deeper (even though he’s never really been a deep rapper). He said in an MTV interview that he had to experience life to make this album, and I’m waiting for that.
This the video for the remix of the Ke$ha song. There’s some heavy hitters on here. But be warned, none of the singers are actually in the video. But the old dude who raps T.I.’s part is pretty hilarious.
Bobby Ray releases his latest video directed by Motion Family with cameos from T.I. and 2 Chainz and featuring Lil Wayne, this track definitely puts me in a good mood. It kind of reminds me of his B.o.B vs Bobby Ray days which were my favorite.
It’s been a long time coming with a lot of anticipation. Weezy’s ninth studio album, Tha Carter IV will finally hit stores August 29. For the standard album, there will be a collection of 15 songs, featuring the Cory Gunz assisted track, “6 Foot 7 Foot,” as well as other features such as Rick Ross, Bun B, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain, John Legend and more. There’s also a deluxe tracklisting, which features three more songs. Though I’m sure the deluxe version shall have guest verses, they are not revealed as of now. Check for everything after the jump. For the 2nd annual OVO Fest in Toronto, Drizzy Drake brings out Stevie Wonder, Nas and Weezy. There’s even footage of Rick Ross’ performance as well. For those wondering how the heck Drake pulled off a Stevie Wonder appearance, it’s possibly because the legend R&B crooner will featured on his sophomore effort Take Care and he’s a good friend of the rapper.
Backstage at he OVO Fest, Drake laid down the big news with MuchMusic: “Stevie Wonder is a very close friend of mine. I’m honored to call him a friend, someone who embraced me very early in this music business. Stevie Wonder is actually on Take Care. He helped me out with a lot of the music, just came and sat with me, listened to my music, told me where I could add a couple things to make it more sonically appealing, and not only that but we actually are writing together, which is anincredible experience. So I hit him, asked him to come by, and with no hesitation he hit me back like, ‘I will be there’. Not only that, but he was supposed to do two songs and he did like six. It was incredible.”
